Career Roadmap

This questionnaire was written to help you gain clarity and create a career roadmap that feels true to your highest priorities. There are 7 questions, designed to be answered in about 15 minutes. When I do this practice for myself, I sit down in my office, open to a blank page in my favorite notebook, and enjoy taking my time to physically write answers to the questions. If you type up and submit your answers, they will be sent to Christina, so you can discuss them together.

(1) What do you appreciate about your current life?

(2) What makes you feel good on a day-to-day basis? Consider basic, simple things.

(3) What has felt stressful in your life recently?

(4) When you think of your career 3 months from now, what changes would you like to see externally? What would you like to feel internally?

(5) When you think longer term, say a few years, do you have a vision for what your career will look like? What features would your career have in terms of types of activities, schedule, finances?

(6) How will you know you're successfully on track toward the vision you shared in questions 4 and 5?

(7) What can you add to your life for more consistent support or accountability toward this goal? Do you have a physical space and community that inspires this vision? Have you set up structures to make this process easier? Are there current commitments you can either stop doing or consciously decide to pause?
